VSSE West Sacramento Plant Earns Silver Status for the AEMA Excellence in Manufacturing Award

Updated: Jan 5

This award, introduced in April 2018, recognizes AEMA member manufacturing facilities that meet or exceed AEMA requirements. Criteria include plant appearance, operations, quality control laboratory, environmental practices, safety, and community relations. By following the blueprint provided in the self-assessment and earning this award, participating member facilities can be assured they are following best practices in all areas of manufacturing.

AEMA Award Committee Chair Greg Arntson stated, “The Excellence in Manufacturing award is a mark of distinction, recognizing a company’s excellence and dedication in the field. As a Silver recipient of this award, the West Sacramento Plant has continued to uphold a high level of industry standards for the communities they serve.”

Awarded on an annual basis, qualifying plants will initially achieve Bronze level. The award may be renewed for four more years before progressing to Silver level. Gold level is reached after 10 consecutive years.

The VSS Emultech Plants continue to strive for the Gold Status Award. With continued efforts and dedication, they will make these achievements happen.
