Process Innovation Increases Efficiency for George Reed Aggregate Plants

for the development of an innovation daily production entry process. Together they achieved the following:

1. Built the portal to capture Production Entry for Aggregate Plants and Hot Plants

2. Interfaced with APEX and Libra to pull the materials and tickets information

3. Interfaced with VISTA to push the production details from the portal, and posting it on a daily basis

4. Developed live Inventory Drilldown Report to view the details as of any day of the month. This project automated many manual excel-based steps. And we can now see real-time inventory levels with this single point of data capture.

This project is a perfect example for Process Innovation and Team Work.

This project also helped us to lay the strong foundation for developing the Tonnage Report for GRI. Additionally, beginning in October, Cory and IT will be working with stakeholders on a project to retrofit this system, with some tweaks, for 711 Materials' aggregate plants.
