Jorge Martinez - Empowering Our Team at VSSI

This month VSSI has a very special teammate that is deserving of the June topic of “Empowering our Team”. Jorge Martinez is a great partner in creating the culture within VSSI construction. He is an engaging mentor that helps develop our team with outstanding composure and practical experience.

Since joining VSSI in 2019 as a Project Engineer, Jorge has encountered progressively difficult challenges working on larger Federal projects ranging from Yosemite to the Grand Canyon.  Jorge was promoted to Project Manger in 2022 and has taken on a large workload for VSSI.

Through the years he has acquired a wealth of experience and knowledge. His positive approachable demeanor,  willingness to offer up his experience and perspective as well as help whenever he's needed makes him a valuable team player.

In his free time, Jorge enjoys barbequing for his kids and working out.
