I BUILD AMERICA: Appreciation for the Men and Women of the Construction Industry

The B.U.I.L.D Team

Updated: Oct 31, 2022

National Construction Appreciation Week in September recognizes the dedicated, hard-working men and women who build America’s infrastructure and the communities where we live. The truth is, construction contributes much more to our nation than job sites, orange cones, pouring concrete and traffic delays. From homes to highways to hospitals – the impact of the construction industry is everywhere you look.

The Reed Family of Companies is known for excellence in construction and maintenance of the roadways needed to transport goods and people. While there is a great deal of satisfaction seeing the final product of our construction jobs, the best part is working with our incredibly talented, hardworking, and dedicated people. We take pride in seeing our teams address challenges with a can-do attitude and solving problems by thinking outside the box. We appreciate the tireless effort required in all kinds of weather, during early morning hours, and sometimes, through the still hours of the night when traffic is reduced. Every project has issues come up that are different and unexpected, but there is a camaraderie that is built by working together to do difficult things and to keep each other safe. In our industry we are fortunate to be able to feel that strong sense of accomplishment when we see the physical construction product that we built. We appreciate all that you do to build and make our communities a better place to live.
