Mark graduated from Oakdale High School, class of 1985. He spent 20-plus years working as an operating engineer, and eight years as the manager of the Stockton Trap and Skeet Club. In his free time, Mark loved to spend time on his boat fishing, was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Born and raised in Oakdale, Marks family roots were strong in the community. Mark worked for George Reed for the last five years where he was instrumental at our Clements and Rio Linda Operations. Mark’s primary duty was to be a ground man at the Clements Asphalt Plant where he performed his job with the upmost professionalism. During his time at George Reed, Mark was always joyful to be around. He always carried a big smile and all of his colleagues enjoyed working with him. His colleagues were some of his closest friends, often spending the weekends fishing and hunting together.
Mark Anthony Clinkenbeard will forever be missed and remembered.
