Clinton Thomas Tutthill of Murphys, born March 17, 1977 in Sonora, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 45 on July 29th. He leaves behind his wife, Sara Tutthill; his two children, Bradey (18) and Makenna (16) Tutthill; his parents, Suki and Tommy Tutthill; his sister, Merritt Tutthill; numerous family members; and countless friends. CT spent his 20-year career as a highly valued team member with George Reed Inc. He began his
career as a Project Engineer/Estimator and quickly progressed to Project Manager/Estimator. Within 5 years, CT was promoted to the Division Manager at our Lodi office and for the last 10 years was our Business Manager for all operations. His latest role was all encompassing, he truly was a jack of all trades. His knowledge and experience lended itself to be a part of all things George Reed. A resource for all construction operation and estimating, as well as materials operations & material sales. His largest responsibility was his “CFO” duties for all of GRI. His role was as unique as his personality. An always positive and optimistic person that made everyone smile when he was around. A coworker, friend, confidant, mediator, and strategist will truly be missed by his team at George Reed. A donation may be made to a new scholarship in memory of CT. Please make checks payable to “The Calaveras Community Foundation” for The New Melones Lake.
