The B.U.I.L.D Team

Updated: Oct 31, 2022

A unique aspect to George Reed is the caring support system found throughout the company. Many of the communities we serve are also home to several of our employees. Everyday our employees show pride in improving our communities both at work and at home. Not only do our employees build the beautiful infrastructure found throughout these communities, but many of our employees are active in various community events and organizations.

A mission set by the late Wendell and Norma Reed was to be active in organizations such as the Salvation Army and Rotary. It was their mission that our company recognizes it is our responsibility, as a good corporate citizen, to help enrich our surrounding communities of residence and work. George Reed takes pride in making this mission a reality.

The range of support come in many ways, from supporting youth sports programs and local fairs to supporting local and national organizations like American Red Cross, American Heart Association, Brighter Side of Down Syndrome, SPCA of Central California, Local Lions Club, among many others. From top to bottom, there is support for all types of organizations which enhance our communities.

George Reed donated to the Rio Linda Lions Club and are supporting them with the installation of a Welcome to Rio Linda sign which is anticipated to be completed in the coming months and showcased out front of the George Reed Asphalt Plant. A letter of appreciation from the Lions Club is shown below:
