George Rivera, Dispatch Assistant Manager

711 materials is proud to give a shout out to George Rivera.  George has been with the company for more than 3 years as a Dispatcher supporting our team from the inside but has more than 25 years of industry experience. He has proven himself to be a model employee with new ideas, great customer service as well as superior attendance and punctuality.  He never hesitates to go above and beyond by helping identify and solve problems. George proves daily to be a significant part of the team.

What he likes most about the job is creating solutions to the challenges it brings and the relationships he has with customers. Most recently he has initiated a walking group among the 711 team to focus on heart health. He encourages everyone to step-away for a break and get outside to walk. Once a day George invites different members of the 711 Team to get some steps in.

When George is not at work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, putting miles on his motorcycle, donating his time at the Modesto Gospel Mission and creating new ways to encourage others. George believes in giving back to his community, giving a hand-up to those that need to get back on track, along with offing friendship and someone to talk to.
