CA Waterfowl Wood Duck Box Build - Call for Volunteers!

Updated: 5 days ago

Are you looking for a fun and rewarding way to give back to nature? Join us in volunteering with the California Waterfowl Association to build wood duck nesting boxes! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact on local wildlife while enjoying the great outdoors with your colleagues and fellow conservation enthusiasts.

Why Wood Duck Boxes Matter

Wood ducks rely on tree cavities for nesting, but habitat loss has made it harder for them to find safe places to lay their eggs. By building and installing nesting boxes, we provide these beautiful birds with the shelter they need to thrive. Your efforts will directly contribute to the conservation of this species and help maintain a healthy ecosystem.
