In our first few decades as a Company, receiving a Zero Citation from a regulatory agency, such as MSHA or CalOSHA M&T, was few and far between. The reality of achieving a Zero Citation within the Company and maintaining a site to receive back-to-back Zero Citation inspections really hit home as a goal for our miners in 2020, with our first one in a long time.

Our crew in Chico has proven to do just that. As of Tuesday, July 23, 2024, our crew of three miners at our Pine Creek Quarry achieved their 3rd consecutive Zero Citation MSHA inspection. Josh Gay, the Pine Creek Manager, has done an outstanding job in leading his crew to success. Josh, Gerardo Delgado and Garrett Goracy have done an outstanding job turning this location around and turning it into the safe work environment it is today.
A big shout out to these three hard workers who clearly take pride in their work and the continued mitigation efforts of safety issues surrounding them.
